Holding decision-makers to account for Stourbridge’s climate future
An independent, non-party action group holding decision-makers to account on climate risk and resilience — and requiring properly funded action, not empty promises.

Our Aim
Dudley Council declared a climate emergency in 2020, yet very little has been done to address climate change and resilience. Climate change isn’t a problem for the next generation to solve — it’s here, and it’s getting worse.
Out of frustration at the lack of commitment from local authorities to address climate change, Stourbridge Climate Action was launched as an independent, non-party action group calling for urgent, practical action on climate change and climate resilience in Stourbridge.
Our purpose is to engage with residents and show them how to challenge local authorities and Government where it is needed.
Together we campaign for, lobby and hold decision-makers to account for practical responses that protect our communities, infrastructure and the local environment.
